FIRELog (hereinafter referring to "the App" or "we") is dedicated to assisting you in achieving financial independence and is committed to protecting your privacy with the highest standards. This Privacy Policy aims to explain how we handle your data.

I. Privacy First

FIRELog adopts a "Privacy First" design principle. All your sensitive financial information, including bookkeeping records, net worth, and budget settings, is stored entirely on your personal device (On-Device).

We do not upload your personal financial data to our servers, nor do we sell your data to any third parties.

II. Information We Collect

Since we do not store your personal financial data, we only collect a minimal amount of non-personal data to maintain App operation and stability:

• Diagnostics: To improve App stability, we may collect anonymous crash reports (Crash Logs) via Apple or Firebase Crashlytics. These reports do not contain any financial data that can identify you personally.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., how often a feature is used) to help us optimize the user experience. This data is also anonymous.

III. AI Smart Bookkeeping and Data Processing

The FIRELog Intelligent Assistant uses the latest natural language processing technology to parse your voice or text inputs and generate transaction records for you.

All transaction records and financial data generated by FIRELog are stored on your personal device (local database). FIRELog does not upload your transaction data to any cloud servers.

Currently, this assistant service operates primarily through On-Device technology (such as Apple Foundation Models). Your input is processed on-device and then destroyed immediately after processing, without connecting to the cloud, maximizing your privacy protection.

In the future, we will provide advanced cloud AI options within the App. At that time, users will be able to freely choose whether to enable this service. Please note that when choosing cloud services, your input content will be transmitted via an encrypted connection to our partner AI service providers for processing to provide superior parsing and analysis capabilities.

IV. Data Security and Retention

• Local Storage: Your data is stored on your iOS device, protected by the iOS system's sandbox mechanism.
• iCloud Backup: If you have enabled iCloud Backup, your App data will be included in your iCloud backup and protected by Apple's iCloud security encryption technology.
• Data Retention: Since the data is in your hands, you can delete your data completely at any time by deleting the App or using the clear data function.
